Quintina Williams Pearson

Quintina Williams Pearson (Marine) often leaned on her 23 years of experience when making leadership decisions for her subordinates, especially when she served as First Sergeant and Sergeant Major. Before rising to the top position, she led an all-female engagement team in the rural areas of Afghanistan, alongside male counterparts long before women were officially allowed in combat roles. This experience gave her keen insight and awareness on how best to improve cohesion and communication with the entire command, a talent Quintina still uses today. Originally from Lansing, Michigan, Quintina lives in the Wilmington, North Carolina area.
