Maria Salazar

Maria Salazar was born in Peru in 1980. In 1992, her family relocated to the United States, where they settled in Bridgewater NJ. After high school, Maria earned an Associates of Paralegal Studies. Following the attacks on 9/11, she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where she served in the motor pool as a logistics specialist. After deploying for eight months in support of Operation Iraqi freedom, Maria was honorably discharged, having served nine years. Upon entering the civilian sector, Salazar became a fitness and dance instructor, based mostly in central NJ. She pursued a BS of Art Therapy with a focus in Ceramics and Art History and eventually founded Claymore Vets, where she and her team
