J. Dwayne Gunther
J. Dwayne Gunther (Air Force) retired in 2008 as a Chief Master Sergeant after an enlisted career that spanned 30 years in security forces, where he held many high-level positions. He seamlessly transitioned to civil service, becoming the first civilian Operations Officer for the 437th Security Forces Squadron, where he was the senior law enforcement supervisory specialist. Born in Beckley, West Virginia, he currently serves as the Deputy Director to the Commander of the Air Mobility Command, 628th Security Forces Squadron, in Charleston, South Carolina.
